Overview

Goa is famous for its pristine white sandy beaches and natural beauty. The rich heritage of Goa can be witnessed by taking the South goa tour. In this trip we travel to various popular places of Goa in an ac coach.  We start the tour at Dona Paula point which is a cliff at the end of the Miramar beach. Dona Paula was the daughter of the Portuguese Viceroy who was in love with a local fisherman. After her father refused to accept her love she gave up her life and hence the cliff was renamed as a tribute in her name. The cliff joins the most popular Miramar beach visited by tourists all year round. Goa has a history of the Portuguese influence in the churches, visit the Old Goa church where the relics of St. Francis Xavier are laid to rest and see some of the exhibits at the Bom Jesus Basilica Art Gallery. South Goa also has the beautiful sculptured Shantadurga and Mangueshi temple. Visit the spice plantation for some local cuisine and sip on the local drink of Goa called the feni. The trip ends with a cruise along the Mandovi river to watch the sunset with some light refreshments.
